Their work involves advanced techniques such as plasma cutting steel connections and plywood components.
Plasma Cutting
The fabrication of steel connections through plasma cutting demands a combination of technical expertise and precision. Following detailed specifications and architectural drawings, students operate a CNC plasma cutter to craft steel connection components, ensuring the final assembly achieves maximum strength and stability.
Structural Donor Wall
Sunhive Collective Inc. is a nonprofit focused on sustainable, community-driven design. Design+Build students are creating a donor wall inspired by the geometric beauty and collaborative spirit of a beehive. This unique structure will showcase donor names within its intricate design, blending gratitude with artistry while celebrating the nonprofit’s mission and values.
