The students are currently in the final stages of crafting all plywood structural components and steel connections for the Urban Farming Lab. Through careful inspection, each plywood piece is carfully checked to ensure it’s precisely fabricated and meets engineering and assembly standards. By carefully verifying and assembling each component, they guarantee that every joint seamlessly integrates, ensuring the lab’s structural integrity and durability.

Our students have meticulously verified the accuracy of plasma-cut profiles and ensured the integrity in the steel connections. Through rigorous quality control measures, we guarantee robust and reliable connections capable of withstanding the dynamic demands of urban farming environments. As the components come together, our design+build students have orchestrated the packing of a shipping container with strict precision. By maximizing space utilization and employing efficient packing techniques, every component is securely nested within the container, ready for safe transport to its final destination at John Rex Charter School.
